Tuesday, August 2, 2005 -- 29 weeks + 3 days
Time is ticking away and my waist measures 39 & 1/2 inches as of this morning!! I go to the Dr's
tomorrow for a checkup and then it's every 2 weeks...the last month is every week. Kyra is getting down right abusive
with her kicking these days! It is quite a trip to actually see her moving in my tummy. I feel like Sigornia Weaver
in the movie "Aliens," minus the gore and all. It is truly a miracle.
Arthur has been a busy bee working on Kyra's room. He's done painting and he put up all the Wainscot
paneling...just the crown molding left now. It is really coming along. Kyra's closet is filled with the newborn
diapers my auntie Colleen has been loading me up with (they are so cute) as well as clothes and other adorable things
from my our anxious family members.
I feel great - my spirits are up and I'm looking forward to my new adventure as a mommy. I know
my life will never be the same and I'm quite thankful for my little miracle angel baby, my baby Kyra...she'll be here before
we know it!
Tuesday, June 28, 2005 -- 24 weeks + 3 days
Well, I'm growing by the minute...my belly button is flattening out and Kyra is kicking up a storm. We've picked
out the bedding and furniture...got most of the essentials on our registry. Now I've got to get my lamaze classes scheduled
(like that's going to help anything). We still have lots of work to do in Kyra's future room (our current home office)
but Arthur promises me the painting will be done in only one weekend's time. We're getting excited!!
